A hearty meal for the coldest of New England winters.

Ingredients

Ingredient Quantity
Stew Beef 3 Pounds (2 Packages), Cut in Half
Potatoes Cubed
Onions 2, Quartered
Baby Carrots 1 Small bag, Cut in Half Lengthwise
Lipton Onion Soup Mix 1 Package
Campbell’s Mushroom Soup 2 Cans
Water 1/2 - 3/4 Cans
Salt To Taste
Black Pepper To Taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together soup mix, mushroom soup, water, salt, and pepper.
  2. In large baking dish, add:
  • Cut-up Stew Beef
  • Cubed Potatoes
  • Quartered Onion
  • Cut Carrots
  1. Add soup mixture on top, and stir.
  2. Cover with foil.
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 1/2 - 2 hours, until veggies are soft.
