A great way to use extra peppers!

Ingredients

Ingredient Quantity
Burger 1 Pound
White Rice 1 1/2 Cups, Cooked
Green Peppers 5 Medium
Onion 1 Chopped
Garlic 4 Cloves
Tomato Sauce 12 oz
Salt To Taste
Black Pepper To Taste
Crushed Red Pepper To Taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare rice according to package.
  2. Cut the top off the peppers, and scoop out the seeds and white stuff.
  3. Blanch the peppers for 5 minutes. Place in baking dish.
  4. Chop onions and garlic.
  5. Sauté onions, garlic, and burger. Drain any excess grease.
  6. Mix together burger, rice, and tomato sauce.
  7. Add salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper to taste.
  8. Fill peppers.1
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
  1. If there is extra, bake in baking dish.
