Cabot Cave-Aged Sharp Cheddar Cheese | 1 Block |
Shallots | 1 |
Butter | As Needed |
Mayo | As Needed |
Instructions
- Chop shallot as small as possible.
- Grate cheddar cheese.
- Heat skillet on medium heat.
- Prepare sandwich as follows: piece of bread, layer of cheddar, light layer of shallots, piece of bread.
- Mayo the top piece of bread.
- Lay bread mayo side down in hot skillet.
- Mayo the bottom piece of bread.
- Flip sandwich.
- Remove from heat.
Enjoy plain, or with a dipping sauce!
