Sourdough Bread 1 Loaf
Cabot Cave-Aged Sharp Cheddar Cheese 1 Block
Shallots 1
Butter As Needed
Mayo As Needed

Instructions

  1. Chop shallot as small as possible.
  2. Grate cheddar cheese.
  3. Heat skillet on medium heat.
  4. Prepare sandwich as follows: piece of bread, layer of cheddar, light layer of shallots, piece of bread.
  5. Mayo the top piece of bread.
  6. Lay bread mayo side down in hot skillet.
  7. Mayo the bottom piece of bread.
  8. Flip sandwich.
  9. Remove from heat.

Enjoy plain, or with a dipping sauce!
